Hey loves!

As you know, I was in New York a few weeks back for my very first New York Fashion Week (read about it here)! As you can imagine, packing for New York during the winter time is quite a feat. Not only do I need to be stylish, but stay warm as well. I mean, I’m all for fashion, but what I am not gonna do is freeze my butt off! So it was absolutely crucial to have pieces to layer and keep warm in, while enduring the cold while in NYC. Rent The Runway to the rescue!!

Rent The Runway is truly a great travel hack because you seriously save so much space in your luggage.  You can rent dresses, accessories, coats, pants and handbags too!! Which to me, is quite important as I am a pro- carry on kind of girl.  I love using packing cubes to save space in my luggage! Whats great about RTR is that you can go online, select your pieces and the date you need them and have them delivered your home, hotel or wherever. When I was in NYC last October, I rented a few dresses for our anniversary shoot and had them delivered to the hotel (see the shoot here and here). After my rental period was up, I simply returned them to the RTR store in NYC. If you are not in New York, don’t worry! You can totally return them via UPS as well. Seriously, how easy is that?!

Rent The Runway also has an Unlimited program where you can rent up to three pieces and keep them as long as you like for $139 a month. If you didn’t know, RTR has tons of designer items such as Marissa Webb, Derek Lamb, DVF, Zac Posen and lots more! Free shipping, dry cleaning and you can cancel at any time! So the next time you are planning your vacay and wondering what to wear, just head to RTR and have your selections delivered to you. I linked a few vacay ready pieces from Rent The Runway below.  What a great hack right? Saving luggage space and still slay? You are winning!

Have you rented from RTR before? I’d love to hear what you rented and how you liked the service!

Please share!

So you guys, how many of you watch Love & Hip Hop??

Its ok, this is a safe place for you to admit your guilty pleasure! But, I must say that I, an educated woman watch this foolery and I am still trying to figure out why. Tonight, I watched the reunion show of Love & Hip Hop New York and it was a complete mess. Remy Ma and Papoose were the only two on the platform who were not acting a fool. But, why do we watch these shenanigans again and again on reality tv shows? Its really not just because of the storylines, but its because in a way we like seeing people fail. Let me explain!

There are plenty of reality tv shows that I feel some kind of way about in terms of being messy and again, pure foolery ( I have a feeling the word “foolery” will be all up and thru this post btw.) But again, it’s not just about a storyline the producers and “stars” use to draw us in. Its about forcing people to take a side and wanting the other side to lose. Because I just literally finished watching Love & Hip Hop Reunion Special, I will try to keep my focus on this particular show. Anyways, in tonight’s reunion show, there was a HUGE fight between Yandy and her “husband” baby mommas. If you haven’t watched the show, Yandy’s husband Mendeeces is in jail for a looonnng time for a crime he committed and he has two baby momma’s and his wife Yandy. Well, the kids mothers are attempting to get the kids together to ensure they have a relationship together while the father is in jail. Lets just say this attempt continues to fail and fail again because of their pettiness and immaturity that gets in the way of these kids having at least a darn play date. Anyways, these grown women end up on stage cursing each other out and fighting because of all of the trifling things they have done and said about one another. In case you didn’t know, its #teamyandy and then the other two baby mothers who have joined forces to try to bring her down (insert eye roll here).

Now, I am not going to say whose team I am on. Actually, I am not on either of these three ladies team to tell you the truth. They are all acting very immature and I cannot support the foolery. But, let me tell you this, I do believe there is a level of respect and hierarchy that you have to understand here. Yandy, his “wife” holds the hierarchy because hello, she is his “wife!” I am not going to go into why I am putting “wife” in quotations because this post isn’t about doing a darn review of the show, but I am trying to make a point. Yandy truly did not have a need for bringing herself down by fighting these drama filled women. You would not have caught me out there looking crazy. If I was Yandy, I would’ve set myself right in that seat and just looked at these chicks with a smile on my face. Why? I have the commitment of the man I love, beautiful children who don’t need to see their momma act a fool and my bank account is sitting nice and pretty because I am an entrepreneur of several businesses. Are you not entertained by what I have worked hard for and built on my own?? Now do you want to sit here and look foolish or take some notes so you can try to get what I have. You mad or nah?! #petty

So why do I say we like to see them fail? Because its true. If you think about it, the “I told you so’s, she’s so stupid she gonna go back to him, he don’t have any money to take care of his kids, etc etc.” Its like we get points for being right about what happened to these people who are supposedly living their lives for the world to see. Even watching the Housewives franchise or any other reality tv show will have you doing the same thing, “watch he’s gonna cheat on her, she’s gonna go bankrupt, she’s broke, their marriage is gonna fail.” Blah, blah blah, I think you get the point! Honestly, its kind of sad that we are amused and entertained by watching these people fail. I mean they have struggles, shortcomings and personal issues just like anybody else. Its very rare that you are celebrating the success of these people we do not know, but more so highlighting their moments in life that they are probably not very proud of.

So what is this post about?? I don’t know girl, I was just watching and thought what a mess it was and how we are more entertained by their failures then their success. Funny thing is, these reality stars and tv networks know that its a winning formula that works. Give the people drama and foolery!  I guess that check must be worth it huh?!

So what do you think? Do you think that reality tv shows such as LHH is more about highlighting people failures  more then their success? Or you just cant take the ratchet out of everybody? Hmmm..

Thoughts?

“Every Year The  Women Of New York leave the past behind and look forward for the future. This is known as FASHION WEEK.”

-Carrie Bradshaw

Sex in the City

Now, I am not a woman of New York, but let me tell you, attending New York Fashion Week has been on my list of things to do before I started blogging!! The glitz and glamour of attending runway fashion shows and chit chatting with the “who’s who” seems so wonderful. It’s only been a few years now that bloggers are actually counted amongst those in the industry to  be able to attend NYFW. Well, last week I was glad to be in that number, but man did I learn a few things about NYFW that I am here to share with you. Not to mention the snow storm of the year prevented your girl from attending almost 2 full days of it (insert my tears here).

Honestly, I did not plan on attending NYFW this February. But, Marche Robinson of Robinson Style, reached out to me and asked did I have plans to go and if not, lets go together. Well, you didn’t have to ask me twice! It made it an easier decision to take on NYFW with a room mate and someone that I knew. I’ve known Marche through a few blog groups and of course follow her blog!! So I was down for the cause and we started our plans to attend. We clicked instantly when we officially met last week and are planning to attend NYFW in September too!

So anyway, lets cover a few of the things I did in order to prepare for my attendance to NYFW, as well as scoring invitations to shows. Oh, did you think invites just magically appeared in my inbox?? I wish! I am not there yet! You have to put in some work for them. I received invitations from Club Monaco, Jill Stuart and three other presentations thru me contacting the brand! So you have to put yourself out there if you want to get in to some of these events. I would say give yourself a two month time span from the date of the show to get all of these things done:

  1. Secure accommodations: I stalked sites for a good deal for a flight, so that was easy. Next, was to find a hotel! As a blogger and influencer, you can pitch to different hotels to see if they will host your stay OR provide you with a media rate. So let them know who you are, what you can offer them and have your media kit ready to send to them! If you don’t get any bites, thats ok, just book your hotel and work on Travel content for your blog so that next time you can show them your work providing travel content the next time you reach out.
  2. Book a photographer: I don’t see how you can attend NYFW without a photoshoot planned! I mean come on, New York is the PERFECT back drop for any blogger. So start scouring photographers in the area and request rates! Usually, rates are a bit higher during NYFW. So thats why I say to start maybe two months prior when you search to give yourself enough time to make a decision and book. I have used Laurel Creative twice and she’s great!
  3. Draft your email requesting an invite: Some bloggers get invites to shows, presentations and showrooms! How nice, but guess what, there are some of us that have to put in a little work to get invited to shows! So go ahead and get started on crafting your email to brands requesting an invite! I recommend  explaining who you are, that you will be attending fashion week and would like to participate in any events they may have. Don’t make it lengthy, just to the point! Find the media contact or PR firm that represents that brand and email them your request! You may have to do some digging around. Google is your friend!  Oh, also reach out to showrooms too for visits. Sometimes they have some of their new collections or may even let you borrow some pieces. Most importantly, don’t get discouraged if you don’t hear back immediately. Most of my invites came like 3 days before I arrived so be encouraged!
  4. Head to NYFW “The Shows” and “Fashion Week Online” website: These sites provide the schedule of all of the shows during Fashion Week. Its a great resource to help you plan what shows you want to attend, location and time. Keep in mind that the full schedule isn’t updated until maybe 1-2 weeks prior to Fashion Week. Use the letter that you drafted and begin sending out to the brands who are on the schedule. Sometimes the schedule will include a PR contact, but mostly it does not.
  5. Plan what to wear: NYFW comes with the pressure of looking absolutely amazing. But, boo just do you and you will slay anyway, OK!
  6. Sign up for a FOHR card: If you haven’t heard of FOHR, go and sign up now! FOHR is a great platform for bloggers  where they help brands partner with influencers. FOHR also emails you about a few months prior to Fashion Week and ask if you will be attending as they may have brands who want to invite you to shows or events!

Now, lets discuss what I learned attending my first Fashion Week. While we were there, Marche and I talked about how attending NYFW in February was actually good for us in terms of getting our feet wet and learning what to do differently next time. Speaking of getting our feet wet, let me tell y’all about how I missed almost two days of my trip. The snowstorm of the darn year decided to hit New York the day my flight was to leave, which was last Thursday. My flight was cancelled TWICE!! Not only that, my airline didn’t have any other flights going out until that Sunday. Sunday y’all, the day I planned to return home! I was literally devastated. I’m like come on, I am so close!! Well, obviously I made it to New York as you can tell. I ended up buying another ticket by the grace of God, leaving that Friday afternoon with a connecting flight to New York. I didn’t touch down in NYC until 9:00 Friday night. So I missed about 3 events because of the storm. Thankfully, Marche went in my place to two of the events but still! I tried to remind myself to just make the most of it and move on (insert more of my tears here) lol.

So here’s what I learned:

  1. Try to come a day earlier and Don’t Overbook Yourself: We missed out on a few invites to shows because they were on Wednesday or Thursday morning. I suggest trying to maximize your trip as much as you can so you can get the most out of it. I also think its important to not be held down by a slew of show invites. One blogger I follow said she had FORTY shows to attend. FORTY!!! I’m sorry but thats too darn much. I am over 30 and I require my rest lol. But, my point is that you are in New York, enjoy it! Maybe take a day and just enjoy the city! Hit up all of the hot spots and restaurants, meet some fellow bloggers and hit the town to take pics! Who wants to go on a vacation only to be exhausted every day? Not me!
  2. Reach out to blog networks: Shopstyle, Bloglovin and Reward Style just to name a few, typically have events during Fashion Week! We didn’t consider reaching out to these networks and we should have. We were so focus on contacting brands we didn’t consider the actual networks in our outreach.
  3. Wear the Brand: If you love the brand, wear it on a few of your blog posts so that you have blog content to share with the brand when you reach out for a show invite. I adore many brands, but I feel if I focused a little more on having that brand’s clothing on my blog it would have given me a little edge on getting invites!
  4. Be Organized and Schedule Reminders on your phone: Y’all, this is where we messed up!! We missed a show that we REALLY wanted to attend because we didn’t have the time correct. By the time we realized it and made it to the presentation, it was over ( ok give me the cup of my tears now). So lesson learned, schedule all of your shows and appointments in your phone with an alert so that you don’t commit the same mistake. We thought we were organized, but clearly we were not. Don’t worry, we won’t do this again!!
  5. Reach out to local area businesses and try to do a brand collaboration: Content is king for a blogger!! So maximize your trip to New York and reach out to some companies there for a collaboration. Spa’s, restaurants, tourism board etc. We thought of this while walking back to our hotel lol. Again, so focused on show invites we didn’t consider other opportunities we could have scored.

All in all, I cannot complain one bit. I love learning lessons and applying them later. What you have to keep in mind is that these tips are nothing unless you go out there and apply them. So that means start now and get prepared by creating great content, build your following, remain consistent and work hard on being a great blogger. So when New York Fashion Week rolls around again you’ll be ready, prepared, hitting the shows and slaying while you work! Not bad at all girl, not bad at all!

Hey there! Valentine’s Day is around the corner and its time to start thinking the most important question… what should I wear? Ok, maybe what your significant other plans are for Valentine’s Day is the most important question lol. But, if you ask me, having an idea in mind of what to wear is very important! Well, I partnered with Rent The Runway to bring you a very chic, yet casual daytime date look today. Even though its a daytime date, being stylish and cute is still important. My metallic leather jacket, peplum blouse, handbag and earrings are all courtesy of Rent The Runway. I seriously adore this metallic jacket so much. Its absolute perfection, I don’t want to give it back lol. No, Rent The Runway isn’t just for formal occasions. They have tons of outfit options, even handbags. Check out the Zac Posen bag that I am carrying above!!  As you can see, the hubby, Eric, is back on the blog! He is wearing a denim shirt and gray, quilted bomber jacket from Bonobos. Bonobos is a stylish menswear line that has really nice items for your man. From casual to dressier items, your honey will be just as chic as you!  So check them out too!

We decided to take you guys along on our daytime date! As parents, sometimes “date night” ends up being “daytime date.” Hey, gotta get in where you fit in! So we took the little one to daycare and headed out to enjoy the morning! We kept it easy with a quick breakfast and coffee at one of my favorite bistros in the area.  After breakfast, we headed over to the movie theatre for more fun. There are so many good movies we have to catch up on. What are some of your favorite movies that are out right now? Eric decided to sweep me off my feet too while we were in the movie theatre. I tell you, there isn’t a dull moment with this dude lol.

I’ll be sharing a fun “Mommy’s Day Out at the Spa” next week with a few ladies from the Empowerment Exchange. Hey, Valentine’s Day isn’t just for you and your boo! Spending a little girl time with your friends is always fun. I can’t wait to hang with these ladies this weekend and show you guys are fun spa session!

What are some of your V- Day plans? Please share, I’d love to hear!

Valentine’s Day is around the corner y’all! Do you have any plans? Considering its like, on a Tuesday, we’ll probably be at home. I don’t get why some holidays just don’t fall on a weekend so we can all enjoy it, right? Anyhoo, I have a great Valentine’s Day outfit idea for you! I found this jumpsuit on my number one go to site, ASOS.com! Y’all its ONLY $31!!! So let me tell you, when I ordered this jumpsuit and received the package, my mind was already made to return this jumpsuit. It was one of those moments where I felt like I had spent so much money lately and was willing to return any and every thing to get a piece of coin back. LOL, you know what I’m talking about. But, something told me, girl open up that package and try it on!! Listen, when I slipped this white jumpsuit over these legs and zipped it up, it was love at first sight.

This jumpsuit is simply everything: the material,  the wide leg pant, culotte length and shoulder detail??!! It all commands attention and I cant wait to wear it out. After I drop about 5 pounds and get this tummy right that is. I don’t want to be held up in Spanx with this jumpsuit lol. Sometimes being able to breathe in your clothes is an amazing thing! As I type this post, this jumpsuit is only available in two sizes ( ugh!). But, continue to stalk the site for restocks!  In my opinion, jumpsuits are a great Valentine’s Day outfit idea. I mean I wore one for last years blog post (check it out HERE). Surely, this is one you don’t want to miss! I also linked a few other cute options for you below in case your size in this jumpsuit is not stocked.

Hey loves!

I know, I know I have been M.I.A!!! But, I am back! 2017 has been weird for me as I don’t feel like it’s a new year. So, I haven’t gotten my life and told myself, “ITS TIME TO CRUSH 2017!” I have basically still been on my 2016 mindset, which, isn’t or has not been bad. But, I know its time to go higher and I can’t do that until I made up my mind to get started right?!

I decided to get a little personal on the blog today and share “Five Things About Myself to Improve in 2017.” Now, I do know that I am quite a fabulous person lol, however, your girl could use some work! Its nothing like evaluating yourself and saying, “Girl, do better!” We all have flaws that we need to improve about ourselves. When you recognize those flaws and don’t take the steps to make positive changes, then what are you really doing? I cannot be the “GIRL BOSS” I dream to be if I am not applying myself and doing “GIRL BOSS” things, am I right??

So I am going to let you in on a few things that I know I need to work on about myself for 2017! I like to be transparent with my followers so you guys can get a sense of who I am.  I am a wife, mom, blogger and everything else I need to be to others. Life can get a bit crazy, so its time to buckle down and get to work! Here are my five things that I plan to hold myself accountable for in 2017. Let’s go!

Five Things About Myself to Improve in 2017

  1. Procrastination: Your girl GOT IT BAD!! In fact, there are a lot of opportunities that I see out there for myself that I pass on because I know my procrastination game is real!! I am easy to push things off until later. Honestly, I don’t even know why I allow myself to do that knowing that I have a 2-year-old toddler. I am always tired by the end of the day and when the couch calls my name, I answer! In 2017, I cannot allow procrastination to hold me back from the things that can allow myself to be great and create the brand I dream of.                                                                   Solution: Create a weekly task list to complete by Sunday. This will allow me time to schedule and plan my week and allow for changes instead of stressing myself to get it done daily.
  2. Healthy Eating: Y’all, since the holidays I have been eating any and everything. My trouble zone is my stomach area and I am not liking what I am seeing. I get bloated very easily to the point I look three to four months preggo. Last summer, my family and I did a weight loss challenge and I actually did really well! I noticed that I wasn’t bloated as usual and that I had more energy. Personally, I learned that I need to cut back on bread and sugar which was the culprit of my bloating. Another problem is, I don’t like working out! I can go strong for about a month or two and then I don’t want to do it anymore. I never really enjoy it.                                                                          Solution: Starting today get back on my healthy eating! No breads or sugar and increase my water intake. Find a workout that I enjoy and commit to attending or completing starting at twice a week.
  3. Spending: Lord, hold my mule! This should really be number one, but whatever. I really need to get better at saving, budgeting and reduce impulse buying. You all know that I LOVE to shop! I am great at finding affordable fashion and look for less deals. Problem is, even though an item may be a great deal, I am purchasing other stuff that’s a great deal too and it all adds up. With blogging, some of my outfits are sponsored, meaning, provided by the brand. But, for the most part its all me swiping that card honey. Not to mention making sure Camille is fly and cute and household expenses as well. I am getting close to 40 y’all, its time to start thinking long-term and retirement! Wow, I’m real grown lol.                                                                                                                                                          Solution: Create a monthly spending budget that allows me to shop, but reduce the amount that I am spending. Also, to use cash for purchases that are not online. Maybe I can actually leave Target without spending hundreds perhaps? #goals
  4. Housekeeping: My house is unorganized y’all and I am not the best housekeeper. It’s really unorganized and the walls are closing in with all of Camille’s toys. We are hoping to move in the next few years since we also want to expand our family with one more little one. So, I have to do better at maintaining my household and reducing the clutter. It really irritates me to come home to the clutter and mess. I can’t take it anymore!                                  Solution: Eliminate furniture that is not regularly used and get more functional storage options. Reduce the clutter by selling or donating to Goodwill or Salvation Army. Also, create a schedule to do a “deep cleaning” once or twice a month and then maintain for the other two weeks.
  5. Blogging/ Business: I want to start my own business in relation to my blog. But, I am not set on exactly what product I want to sell or market. I initially thought t-shirts, but I don’t know if that’s something I am completely sold on. I really don’t want to spend time on something that I am not 100% about. But, I know that in order to turn my blog into a brand, I really need to focus on a product to grow my audience and financially. Solution: Prayer and research! I don’t want to do anything without confirmation from God that this is the right path. But, faith without works is dead. So I need to research to ensure what I really want to do and if its beneficial to this time period or season in my life.

Whew! Ok, those five things I must focus on this year. I really need to make sure I am not deterred and stay focus on accomplishing these goals.

I would love to know what are some things you feel you can improve upon personally and what solutions or tactics you have in place to get it done!!

So please share and let’s make 2017 AMAZING!

I am loving a good pleated midi skirt! Its one of my favorite fashion trends for 2016. I’ve been eyeing this pleated midi skirt from ASOS for a long time. So I finally decided to just hit the button and buy it! Its a gorgeous, subdued gold color that can be worn with just about anything in my closet. When I shop “trendy” pieces, I like to make sure they are pieces I can still rock after its no longer “in style.” How can this pleated midi skirt ever go out of style though, right?

I hope you had a very, Merry Christmas! Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love going all out to celebrate it. We did so many fun things this holiday season as a family which made it even better. Having a child who is old enough to get excited about the festivities of the holidays just made it 100 times better. We took Camille to so many Christmas events and she had a blast. I am sad that the build up and anticipation of Christmas is now over because honestly, thats the best part!

Well loves, the next time you will hear from me will be in 2017!!! I cannot even believe that 2016 is coming to a close. I have so many things I need to accomplish and goals that I must meet in 2017. This blog life has to go further, you hear me? So be on the look out for more diverse blog posts, great giveaways for my loyal readers and more!

Please have a SAFE, BLESSED and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR my loves!!

All I want for Christmas is for Sallie Mae to leave me alone! That would be the best Christmas gift of all. Lol. I am sure most of you can agree. Y’all, when I laid eyes on this sweatshirt, I knew I had to have it! “Mess In A Bottle” nailed it with this one! If you haven’t heard of Mess In A Bottle” its a t-shirt company founded by Kaliyah Wright, that has the most funniest “mess-ages” on their tees. They have cute tees like “Long Hair She Don’t Care” and “My Melanin So Rich You Can’t Afford It” and much more. Not only that, but your tees, if you select, actually comes inside a glass bottle. How cool is that?

I think this sweatshirt by “Mess In A Bottle” would make a great gift for anyone who understands this student loan life. Lord knows I am not about it. I am waiting on Sallie Mae to just say girl all is forgiven lol. A girl can dream right? I mean this sweatshirt is so warm too. Perfect for those cold, winter days where you want to look comfy and chic.  Anyways, I think its a wonderful thing to support small businesses. I want to do more of that going forward because its so great to support somebody’s dream! So definitely make sure you head on over to “Mess In A Bottle site and order up! If you SIGN UP for her email list, you can receive 20% off your order. Winning!!

See you Thursday for my next post!!

Are the days where we send out Christmas cards to our friends and loved ones no more?  Times have changed and receiving a card or a letter in the mail is so rare! I am so guilty of failing at this each year. But, this year I was determined to send out Christmas cards! It is so important to me to bring back this tradition to my home. This tradition brings back fond memories of my mom and I. That which I am grateful for! I remember each year helping my mom pick out Christmas cards. We would pull out her address book, sit down at the kitchen table, sign the cards and address the envelopes. When we would receive our cards in the mail, I would line them up on our fireplace mantel or tape them in the arch way of our living room. Giving and receiving Christmas cards just made me feel connected with everyone who shared in wishing each other well during this special time. Also, it served as a constant reminder of the reason for Christmas. Jesus is the Reason for the Season indeed!

Well, this year I got it together, booked our family photos and now our Christmas cards are done thanks to Tiny Prints! I knew I wanted personalized Christmas cards, but man I got way more than just that! Not only can you select from tons of different Christmas or Holiday card designs, but you can take an extra step with personalizing it by selecting the message in the card, choosing a liner for the envelopes (I used a picture featuring Camille of course), and select different styles and colors of envelopes too. Not only that, you can input all of your loved ones addresses into Tiny Prints and they will print out the address on the envelopes for you. As well as printing yours for the return address!!! For the FREE! All I had to do is seal the envelopes and put a stamp on it. Beyond easy! You can even have them print your cards and mail them out for you (this requires a few weeks). Tiny Prints is doing the absolute most and I am here for it!

I realize Christmas is in a matter of days. But, you still have time to receive your cards by December 23rd if you order your cards TODAY!! Or you can also send out cards for “New Year” if you think its too late to try for sending Christmas. Tiny Prints also offer birth announcements, invitations and other types of stationary too! But, I know you really want to know is if there is a coupon code. Yes, there is! CLICK HERE for their latest promo codes and offers!

Well, thats one thing off my list of things to do. Maybe now I should start buying gifts! Better late than never 🙂

See you Sunday for the next post!

Y’all, I have been so out of order! Since Thanksgiving I have been eating all kinds of mess. I know I am not alone! Cakes, pies, sweets, fried foods and all kinds of foolishness. One thing I have learned since turning 30, my body is NOT the same as it was when I was younger. I’ve always been a thin girl. Matter of fact, in high school I was called “FM 98,” (a radio station in Detroit) because I weighed 98 pounds back then lol. But, when your stomach has turned into a “gut” thats a real problem. I can’t be out here looking preggo when I am not. LOL. Don’t worry though, because 1/2/17 I am gonna get my life back right! Until then, I am gonna enjoy this food!

Anyways, I ordered this tie sleeve sweater dress and honey it’s so forgiving! It’s such a throw on and head out the door type dress. Which is just what I need!  The tie sleeve trend has been big lately. But, I loved that I found the trend in a tie sleeve sweater dress. I mean, who doesn’t need more dresses?! Its affordable too! I wore this dress to a holiday party and felt so comfortable!  How are you loving these fishnet/ lace tights? I think I got them from Kohl’s years ago and this was my first time wearing them. I really liked pairing it with this dress and booties for more of a monochromatic look! I am definitely considering buying more tights to spice up my outfits. I’ve linked several cute pairs for you below! So check them out!!

I hope you have an amazing weekend ahead. I have dinner plans Friday and brunch plans on Sunday. Yep, more eating! I’m telling you guys, I am gonna pull it together for next year. January is my birthday and I gotta be 35 and fine, ok!
