Hey loves!
As you know, I was in New York a few weeks back for my very first New York Fashion Week (read about it here)! As you can imagine, packing for New York during the winter time is quite a feat. Not only do I need to be stylish, but stay warm as well. I mean, I’m all for fashion, but what I am not gonna do is freeze my butt off! So it was absolutely crucial to have pieces to layer and keep warm in, while enduring the cold while in NYC. Rent The Runway to the rescue!!
Rent The Runway is truly a great travel hack because you seriously save so much space in your luggage. You can rent dresses, accessories, coats, pants and handbags too!! Which to me, is quite important as I am a pro- carry on kind of girl. I love using packing cubes to save space in my luggage! Whats great about RTR is that you can go online, select your pieces and the date you need them and have them delivered your home, hotel or wherever. When I was in NYC last October, I rented a few dresses for our anniversary shoot and had them delivered to the hotel (see the shoot here and here). After my rental period was up, I simply returned them to the RTR store in NYC. If you are not in New York, don’t worry! You can totally return them via UPS as well. Seriously, how easy is that?!
Rent The Runway also has an Unlimited program where you can rent up to three pieces and keep them as long as you like for $139 a month. If you didn’t know, RTR has tons of designer items such as Marissa Webb, Derek Lamb, DVF, Zac Posen and lots more! Free shipping, dry cleaning and you can cancel at any time! So the next time you are planning your vacay and wondering what to wear, just head to RTR and have your selections delivered to you. I linked a few vacay ready pieces from Rent The Runway below. What a great hack right? Saving luggage space and still slay? You are winning!
Have you rented from RTR before? I’d love to hear what you rented and how you liked the service!
