Hi Loves!
I have a new found love for satin slip dresses! Not only are they very feminine and smooth to the touch, they evoke a special touch to your outfit. I didnt know I even had a love for them until recent, when I started following Karen BritChick on Youtube. Karen is an amazing fashion blogger who pairs unique vintage finds with current trends in the most amazing way. I admire her unique style so much and she can do no wrong in my book. If you have not, please follow her NOW! She posted over the summer a beautiful satin slip dress and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one ever since.
So when I popped in Zara a while ago and saw this gorgeous yellow one, I picked it up and immediately purchased without trying it on lol. I knew it just had to work and boy was I right. I love the fit of this satin slip dress so much. Its cold as bricks here in Dallas for the past few months, so wearing this alone was not going to happen. Thats the beauty with slip dresses, you can pair them with blazers, leather jackets, sweaters or a cardigan like I did here. I love the juxtaposition of the fabrics and edging up the dress with the knit of the cardigan and the boots too. I’m giving just a little shoulder action by wearing the cardigan a little off the shoulders with one of my favorite belts as well.
So how do you feel about satin slip dresses? Will you give them a try or nah? I linked a few options in many colors for you to check out. Let me know if you pick one up!!
