I’m back again! I know, I took another long break. The holidays were action packed for us as a family and blogging was the last thing on my mind. But, I’m back! Valentine’s Day is coming up and I know you are wondering what to wear. I’ve got a Valentine’s Day outfit idea for you! Why not switch things up with a gorgeous pink pants suit?

This ZARA tuxedo pant suit is AH-MAZING! The color is stunning and the fit is perfection! I’m not a suit girl and since suiting has really been trending in the past few seasons, I still didn’t think it was for me. But, when I saw this pink pants suit? Yep, I had to have it! I think this pant suit would be a beautiful Valentine’s Day look. No, its not your typical dress. But, its sexy in its own right! I wore a pretty bralette underneath and delicate shoes and a small pouch. Keep accessories and everything simple for this suit. Its a stand out piece and doesn’t require much to look good!

This velvet top screams Valentine’s Day to me! Its so pretty, soft and gives off the right amount of sexy and romantic vibes I must say. Especially with the off shoulder and pretty velvet texture. I’ve fallen prey to the velvet trend and simply cant get enough. Its something about a super soft fabric such as velvet that makes it so soft, luxurious and even comfortable. Hey there! Valentine’s Day is around the corner and its time to start thinking the most important question… what should I wear? Ok, maybe what your significant other plans are for Valentine’s Day is the most important question lol. But, if you ask me, having an idea in mind of what to wear is very important! Well, I partnered with Rent The Runway to bring you a very chic, yet casual daytime date look today. Even though its a daytime date, being stylish and cute is still important. My metallic leather jacket, peplum blouse, handbag and earrings are all courtesy of Rent The Runway. I seriously adore this metallic jacket so much. Its absolute perfection, I don’t want to give it back lol. No, Rent The Runway isn’t just for formal occasions. They have tons of outfit options, even handbags. Check out the Zac Posen bag that I am carrying above!! As you can see, the hubby, Eric, is back on the blog! He is wearing a denim shirt and gray, quilted bomber jacket from Bonobos. Bonobos is a stylish menswear line that has really nice items for your man. From casual to dressier items, your honey will be just as chic as you! So check them out too!

We decided to take you guys along on our daytime date! As parents, sometimes “date night” ends up being “daytime date.” Hey, gotta get in where you fit in! So we took the little one to daycare and headed out to enjoy the morning! We kept it easy with a quick breakfast and coffee at one of my favorite bistros in the area. After breakfast, we headed over to the movie theatre for more fun. There are so many good movies we have to catch up on. What are some of your favorite movies that are out right now? Eric decided to sweep me off my feet too while we were in the movie theatre. I tell you, there isn’t a dull moment with this dude lol.

I’ll be sharing a fun “Mommy’s Day Out at the Spa” next week with a few ladies from the Empowerment Exchange. Hey, Valentine’s Day isn’t just for you and your boo! Spending a little girl time with your friends is always fun. I can’t wait to hang with these ladies this weekend and show you guys are fun spa session!

Valentine’s Day is around the corner y’all! Do you have any plans? Considering its like, on a Tuesday, we’ll probably be at home. I don’t get why some holidays just don’t fall on a weekend so we can all enjoy it, right? Anyhoo, I have a great Valentine’s Day outfit idea for you! I found this jumpsuit on my number one go to site, ASOS.com! Y’all its ONLY $31!!! So let me tell you, when I ordered this jumpsuit and received the package, my mind was already made to return this jumpsuit. It was one of those moments where I felt like I had spent so much money lately and was willing to return any and every thing to get a piece of coin back. LOL, you know what I’m talking about. But, something told me, girl open up that package and try it on!! Listen, when I slipped this white jumpsuit over these legs and zipped it up, it was love at first sight.

This jumpsuit is simply everything: the material, the wide leg pant, culotte length and shoulder detail??!! It all commands attention and I cant wait to wear it out. After I drop about 5 pounds and get this tummy right that is. I don’t want to be held up in Spanx with this jumpsuit lol. Sometimes being able to breathe in your clothes is an amazing thing! As I type this post, this jumpsuit is only available in two sizes ( ugh!). But, continue to stalk the site for restocks! In my opinion, jumpsuits are a great Valentine’s Day outfit idea. I mean I wore one for last years blog post (check it out HERE). Surely, this is one you don’t want to miss! Hi there! Valentine’s Day is on the horizon and there are so many ways to share in this special day. Whether its with your honey or a budding new romance, its always nice to know that love is in the air. But, that doesn’t mean your girlfriends are not included!! I bring you our “Galentine’s Day” collaborative shoot with these blogger babes: Aquia, Eryn, and Melody !!! These ladies are lifestyle and fashion bloggers right here in the Dallas area. When I tell you, these ladies are stylish, creative and so much fun, I really mean it. We had a great time and brunch plans are already in the making!! It was amazing partnering with thredUp as we picked out some cute, gently used designer pieces to add to our wardrobe collection. I picked out this black, moto leather jacket by Zara for under $65!!! I mean, what a deal! The detailing of the jacket and the touches of leather are right up my alley. We spent the afternoon wine tasting at Delaney Vineyards & Winery, a local vineyard, right here in Texas. After a few sips…. or five we took to the vineyards and shot away!

Happy Sunday! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner its time to peep into your closet and put together a stylish look! If you’re like me, when date night rolls around or special occasions like Valentine’s I always draw a blank on what to wear. More like hating everything in my closet and wonder where are my tops, dresses and everything else lol. So this time around, I thought ahead and managed to put together an edgy look, but yet chic look for you. This simple silk, one shoulder top is absolutely perfect for a special night and can you believe I found it on thredUp? thredUp is a wonderful site where you can find gently used or like new clothing by great brands at a fabulous price! This gorgeous top, along with my favorite ripped, boyfriend jeans and my favorite camel coat makes for an easy outfit. Throw on some great jewelry and you’re good to go!

Hello There! Valentine’s Day is around the corner, can you believe it? I started searching high and low a few weeks back for the perfect night out look for Valentine’s Day. I believe I’ve found it! Who doesn’t love a sultry, red outfit for a night out on the town?? This quintessential red jumpsuit is the perfect mix of sophistication, sass and sexiness and I’m here for it!! It was FREEZING the morning we shot this look. I was so glad I brought my faux fur jacket along to keep me warm! I’ve had this coat since last year and I am always so excited when the weather gets cold enough to wear it. Pair the red jumpsuit with the faux fur jacket along with gold accessories and you have a winner!! Just wait until you see your honeys’ mouth hit the floor when you walk out in this gorgeous jumpsuit. Are you convinced that you NEED it yet? It also comes in a blush, nude pink shade, as well as black. All for under $50?? Get it girl!!!

Oh and make sure you check the size chart on the site when ordering so that you have the right size. I am wearing a size 6 according to ASOS size chart and my measurements.
