I’m a girl whose all about a good cape!! I find they are so easy to throw on and are a great transitional piece when fall weather is a bit fickle. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite capes that I am currently obsessed with. You can wear capes dressed up or down with jeans, skirts, slacks, boyfriend jeans, flares… the possibilities are endless!! Hi there! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Thanks for stopping by and checking out today’s post. This whole look I am obsessed with!! The coated denim jeans has a leather look that just gives me life! I am also loving this denim tunic. Its perfect for my closet! I always love longer shirts that I can wear with any and everything; skirts, jeans, as a jacket. There are so many options. I already know I’m going to wear it a lot so you’ll definitely be seeing it around on the blog.
If I could give all of my followers one thing from my wardrobe, these shoes would be it. They are comfortable, unique and EVERYTHING!!! Zara just gets me!! Sadly, these were a part of Zara’s fall line last year, so they are no longer available. I did my best to find you similar. So check out the links below.

One fall fashion must have for me is the leather jacket. I constantly reach for mine for those cool mornings the fall brings. It’s easy to wear with a scarf, sweater or just about anything. I decided to pair it with the cutest bow blouse and the coveted flare jean. I especially loved how this outfit turned out with the pops of wine colored accessories. It makes the look rich and chic.
I also simply adore my sunnies!! They are Miu Miu and are apart of the Ditto program where you can rent Designer sunglasses for $24 a month!! I can’t wait to get my next pair in the mail.
I’m sorry I didn’t post on Tuesday, I was feeling under the weather and my bed was just such a better idea lol.

Hi there! Often times I am asked, do I always dress up? Am I always in heels?? Absolutely not, especially now with a little one. But, I do prefer my heels!! Thats why I am excited about today’s look because its featuring these edgy wedge sneakers. This off the shoulder sweatshirt is super laid back yet, flirty ( I mean, who doesn’t like a little shoulder peeping through, am I right?). So when I saw this one at Target, I immediately placed in my cart! My camouflage pants are an oldie, but super goody. I’ve had them for about four years now and they are holding up VERY well. I absolutely love them dressed up or down. I finished the look with these comfy, edgy, wedge gym shoes (mid west anyone lol) and statement bag. Well, there you have it! A laid back, easy: “run behind the little one, run errands and I’m still cute look!!”

Hi There! I call this look: EASY!!! A weather appropriate jacket, tailored shirt, ripped jeans and a nice boot and you’re done. The bag is an oldie, but definite goodie. Its from Target’s collaboration with Philip Lim from a few years ago. If you missed this collaboration, I’m definitely sorry for you. I came out of it with this bag, the last one in the store I found at 12 noon! A pure shopping miracle I tell you!!
The last few days my dad was in town for his birthday. He mainly came to visit my little girl, Camille lol. It was such a great time with him here. Camille was 9 months since he last saw her and she’s grown so much. They had the best time hanging out together. We visited our local pumpkin patch, went shopping and just enjoyed each others company. My mom passed away five years ago, so any moment I can spend with my dad is priceless. He returned back home today and we miss him dearly.
Tell me, how did you spend your weekend? Are you ready for the holidays? I’m a Christmas fanatic so I can’t wait to get in the full holiday spirit!!

Hello! Happy Tuesday! Just a quick post sharing what I purchased during Sephora’s Friends & Family sale that occurred over a week ago. I was so happy to be able to get the 20% discount, which made it a perfect time to purchase some makeup items I’ve been debating about. I also was able to use my VIB points and get some great sample boxes of makeup products as well.
My favorite, all time foundation is the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation. I’ve been using this foundation for about six years now and its a must have for me. It does great with coverage, wears well throughout the day and the HD makes it look great in pictures. A must for a blogger!! I also tried out the Bobbi Brown Powder Foundation as my setting powder. So far, so good! It offers a natural coverage that is perfect for every day, but I wouldn’t say that I would wear it for full coverage. It seems a bit too sheer. I also bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette because I wanted to play around with some highlighters. I really don’t care for the super glittery ones, so this palette is perfect for a natural glow. I like to apply them under the eyes as well for a little pick me up.
The Friends & Family sale was a PERFECT time to try some high end mascaras. I’ve been wanting to try the Giorgio Armani “Eyes to Kill” mascara forever! I really like it so far, one application and my lashes are nice and long. It’s not really a thickening mascara, but great for lengthening. I also tried the Too Faced “Better than Sex” mascara. I’m not overly impressed. But, I plan to use it a little more and see if it gets better with time.
I really loved being able to use my VIB beauty points and getting some good sample boxes. I’m loving the Bobbi Brown set, the eye cream is a really good moisturizer and I’m hoping to see good results in using it. I really love the BITE lip box. The lipstick is soooo creamy and soft!! I really like BITE lip products. Their pretty much amazing!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I’m loving this “Girl Boss” look. This outfit is suitable for work, church or whatever you want it to be. I love layering jackets, blazers and vests over my dresses. What a perfect pairing when I combined this sleeveless trench dress and my new Banana Republic olive trench dress to create this look! The sleeveless trench dress is last year Ann Taylor. Although I loved the dress, it never fit me right when I wore it buttoned as a dress, but I held on to it with plans to layer it and leave it open. Ironically, this olive trench dress is a bit difficult to find a good fit in as well. You definitely have to go a size down or two because this dress runs big and the fit is not very tailored so keep that in mind.
I was so happy to make these two dresses work by wearing them together. I wanted to share with you to always look for pieces that are interchangeable.  This makes it super easy to maximize your looks and get the most wear out of your closet. This will allow me to wear the sleeveless trench dress with a long sleeve top and jeans for another outfit idea. I can also pair the olive trench dress with cute leather leggings and heels to create a fresh new look.

Bonjour!! Am I in Paris strolling the banks of the Sienne River? Touring historic museums and having a cappuccino at the quaintest cafe’s? I wish! I’m right here in Dallas lol. My fellow fashion blogger friend, Melody and I had this perfect location in mind for a bistro/cafe themed shoot and I am so obsessed with how it came out. The weather has finally chilled down a bit in Dallas, so I pulled out all of my fall necessities to make the look. The fedora hat, camouflage scarf, leather leggings and the perfect fringe booties all came out to play! It felt so good to finally layer and put on warmer clothing for the shoot.
Melody and I also had brunch here. We ordered up two lavender cappuccinos and started our blog shoot. Special thanks to Mercat Bistro for being so amazing and letting us shoot here with the most courteous and friendly staff. Mercat Bistro also has the yummiest food! I had the Strawberry & Marscapone Crepe and it was so good! Be sure to check them out if you’re in Dallas!

The weather is finally changing and cooling down a bit in Dallas. It’s the perfect time to start layering and adding stylish fall vests to your closet. I love vests for this reason and there are so many great, affordable options out there to build your fall wardrobe with. I love that these vests are neutral in tone and can work with so many outfit options. You could layer them with a long sleeve sweater or t shirt with jeans or leather leggings, or edge up a knit dress by topping it off with a vest as well. I love this easy, casual look in today’s post! This is my version of a go-to brunch outfit for fall. Ripped jeans, comfy metallic flats, statement handbag and the multi-purpose blazer makes the look! I’m also a girl who loves her logo tees and this Old Navy tee is right up my alley. I think a logo tee definitely adds to any casual outfit. I’ve linked up some of my favs below that I’m sure you would love! With an outfit like this, you will always look well dressed, stylish and a girl whose ready to eat some yummy brunch. Pancakes, bacon, french toast…. uh-oh, I’m getting hungry! Time for brunch!!
