Happy Tuesday!!! It’s another “Style Craving” post which means my “Must Have” list is getting longer and longer of things that I’m currently craving. Mules are back as a new trend and I have to say, I’m here for it!! Mules are the perfect shoe to slide into and go, not to mention super stylish! Here are a few that I really love and are easy on the coins 🙂 Jeans, pants, skirts, the possibilities are endless. Which pair are your favorite? Happy Sunday loves! Its been a long week and I have been super excited this week to have friends and family here in town for my little girl baby dedication! I have been super busy getting things together for this event. Life as a mommy is overwhelming but it brings me so much joy every time I see that little face and know that she is all mine!

This week’s shoot was in the Highland Park area in Dallas and its such a gorgeous location for pictures. If only I could pack a bag and hop on a plain to Spain, I wish lol!  Also, the hubby shot these pictures!! It was a new experience for us both and having a baby in tow while snapping pictures is not easy. But, we made it work (barely)! I love this maxi skirt, its colorful, bright and the perfect pop of color to your spring wardrobe. I’ve had it for some years now and it never goes out of style. Its a good ole’ TJ Maxx find and I also picked it up in a fun fuchsia too! I usually wear it with a tank or tee and keep the look super simple and easy. Hey friends! Welcome back! I love wearing skirts. I feel the most girly and feminine, so a pencil skirt with a little leg showing is right up my alley. I put this outfit together so last minute and I love how it turned out. Don’t you love when last minute outfit choices come together?? Of course, I had to add a fringe handbag to the mix. Happy Thursday friends!!

I thought I would share exactly why I am doing this blogging thing. Blogging is a little foreign to some who are not familiar with what it is or why someone would do it. Blogging is simply talking about whatever interest you!

Well, if you know me, you KNOW that I love fashion and all things girly. I am always reading fashion magazines, blogs or checking out YouTube videos on makeup and style. All of these things combined is a girl that’s always shopping and creating different looks. I happened to hear about Instagram on YouTube and quickly became hooked! I started posting outfit of the day pictures there and received great response and followers! In doing so, I followed so many fashion bloggers who inspired me through their style and thought, I could do that!! Not only could I do it, I would LOVE having a creative outlet that I could be passionate and excited about while inspiring others through style and fashion. So through the support of my Instagram buddies and followers, I decided to stop putting it off and stop second guessing myself and get down to business. So here I am!
I appreciate so many of you following and checking me out. I’m having so much fun meeting new people and learning about this “new” industry of blogging. Happy Tuesday!! Today’s post is a feature on my blog called “Style Cravings,” which are different looks or current styles that I MUST have in my wardrobe. Look for these posts once a week on my blog and you’ll probably see my current craving appear really soon (no, but really)!
My current craving are these gorgeous bright, fuchsia pumps! I love colorful shoes because they really add a nice contrast to an outfit and is so unexpected from the usual black or nude. You gotta love the brunch sweatshirt too! I’m all about brunch and hit the brunch “circuit” as I like to joke, pretty hard. There is nothing like a little mimosa, sweet pancakes and bacon, yes bacon, to make the weekend oh so grand!
