Hi There! I have another Gift Guide for you today on the blog. Today’s gift guide idea is such a true story for me… well just about every other person over 30 I know. For some reason, we become homebodies. We put the club days behind us and cozy up on the couch to relax. Just give us Netflix, comfy clothes to lounge in, yummy snacks, and a glass of wine and we’re good to go. This is perfect for any of your girlfriends, whether they are a homebody or not. You can never go wrong with comfortable pajamas, a few great facial and body treatments or a wine membership to boot. I’ve rounded up some perfect goodies that make Friday, Saturday or Sunday night on the couch even better!

I will try my hardest to get a post up for you Thursday, but as you know I will be headed to the Big Apple!! So its been a little crazy with trying to get packed, make sure my household is together and getting a little rest before this fun girls trip.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!! I am quite obsessed with leather leggings. I think I may have about ten pair and counting. I swear they speak to me and are my go- to for fall and winter wear. I’ve had these pair of olive green leather leggings for a few years now and was never quite sure how to wear them. I just knew that I loved them and had to have them. Well, I was on my Pinterest as usual and saw the above image. I knew I had to recreate it and put my own spin on it. I pulled out these leggings and knew they were perfect for this look. I also added one of my favorite statement bags to pull in the burgundy shades along with the shoes, I intended to wear a jean jacket with this outfit, but in my haste out the door to this shoot, I left it at home. #bloggerproblems

I am super excited that next weekend I am headed to New York for a girls trip!! This will be my first time away from Camille, ever! I know I’ll be a little emotional leaving her, but I need this get away. It will be nice to take a break from worrying about bottles, nap time and diaper changes. Now its time to leave her in daddy’s capable hands…. this should be interesting!

Hi there! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Thanks for stopping by and checking out today’s post. This whole look I am obsessed with!! The coated denim jeans has a leather look that just gives me life! I am also loving this denim tunic. Its perfect for my closet! I always love longer shirts that I can wear with any and everything; skirts, jeans, as a jacket. There are so many options. I already know I’m going to wear it a lot so you’ll definitely be seeing it around on the blog.

If I could give all of my followers one thing from my wardrobe, these shoes would be it. They are comfortable, unique and EVERYTHING!!! Zara just gets me!! Sadly, these were a part of Zara’s fall line last year, so they are no longer available. I did my best to find you similar. So check out the links below.

Yes Way Rose’!!

Hi there! Often times I am asked, do I always dress up? Am I always in heels?? Absolutely not, especially now with a little one. But, I do prefer my heels!! Thats why I am excited about today’s look because its featuring these edgy wedge sneakers. This off the shoulder sweatshirt is super laid back yet, flirty ( I mean, who doesn’t like a little shoulder peeping through, am I right?). So when I saw this one at Target, I immediately placed in my cart! My camouflage pants are an oldie, but super goody. I’ve had them for about four years now and they are holding up VERY well. I absolutely love them dressed up or down. I finished the look with these comfy, edgy, wedge gym shoes (mid west anyone lol) and statement bag. Well, there you have it! A laid back, easy: “run behind the little one, run errands and I’m still cute look!!”

Hi There! I call this look: EASY!!! A weather appropriate jacket, tailored shirt, ripped jeans and a nice boot and you’re done. The bag is an oldie, but definite goodie. Its from Target’s collaboration with Philip Lim from a few years ago. If you missed this collaboration, I’m definitely sorry for you. I came out of it with this bag, the last one in the store I found at 12 noon! A pure shopping miracle I tell you!!

The last few days my dad was in town for his birthday. He mainly came to visit my little girl, Camille lol. It was such a great time with him here. Camille was 9 months since he last saw her and she’s grown so much. They had the best time hanging out together. We visited our local pumpkin patch, went shopping and just enjoyed each others company. My mom passed away five years ago, so any moment I can spend with my dad is priceless. He returned back home today and we miss him dearly.

Tell me, how did you spend your weekend? Are you ready for the holidays? I’m a Christmas fanatic so I can’t wait to get in the full holiday spirit!!

Hey Loves! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Sorry I’ve been a little MIA. October has been such a busy month and getting blog shoots done has been a bit of a challenge. But, I’m back. Are you sick of me wearing fringe? Too bad, lol. These shoes right here? Great dupes to the Schutz “Kija” fringe heels and I adore them. I wish they came in gray, but only this gorgeous brown and purple were available. Steve Madden has been after my pockets this season. So many affordable dupes out there that I cannot pass on. I feel like I’m a walking advertisement for them because I’ve been buying so many of their shoes lately.

So, Steve Madden if you wanna hire your girl, I’m down! 🙂

Hey loves! If you can tell by the title of this post, I am celebrating my 6 month blogiversary of my blog, Alwayz Fashionably Late!! I can’t believe that I finally started my fashion blog and have been going strong for six months!! It’s unreal!! I’ve rounded up for you my favorite top ten blog posts as a look back from where I got started. Please click on the links and take a look in case you missed it!

When I first decided to start a blog, I was so fearful. I was nervous about the response I would get from those who know me, people who didn’t know me and what people would think of me blogging. I’m a very private person, I have a select group of friends and I don’t open up much to those I don’t know. As my mother would to say, “keep living and you’ll learn!” I never understood what that meant until I got older, but basically I’ve learned along the way that quality over quantity is key with relationships with others and I prefer it that way. But, starting a blog is opening myself up to others I don’t know. How and why would I do this?

Well, I knew how much I really felt inspired by other fashion bloggers because I could relate to them simply based on their style. You almost feel a little connected to bloggers you follow because they are letting you in on a piece of their life. Not everything is picture perfect as it seems, but you feel connected with others over the images they share that simply inspire you. So I thought, why can I not be that individual that inspire others? Maybe its high time I break, just a little, my shell and put myself out there and at least try.

Well, I tell you what, its been an amazing six months of blogging! I’ve met awesome bloggers, photographers, learned so much about the business of blogging and opened myself up to the possibility of making new friends who understands what this blog life is about. Its not easy! In case you didn’t know, it takes a lot of work! But, living in Dallas, I feel like I have an advantage because of so many great local bloggers, organizations and photographers are right here that I have worked and networked with that have made this journey so much easier.

I would like to thank you, my readers for the encouragement, sharing with friends and just for being you! I am definitely grateful and excited for bigger and better things to come. Of course, I have to thank my hubby for being so understanding and letting me do what makes me happy! Ok, enough of my thank you’s! I can’t wait to see what the next six months will bring to my blog!

Fall is here… well not really in Dallas but anyhoo! Let’s talk about my “Fall 2015 Fashion Essentials!” I know often times we speak of trends that are given to us from the fashion world each year. But, most times I just do me! I rounded up my top ten Fall essentials that I pretty much wear each fall season. This jumpsuit right here? LOVE! This jumpsuit has become my favorite purchase from the “Lilly for Target” collection by Lilly Pulitzer that launched at Target a few weeks ago. A blogger friend and I stood in line early that Sunday morning, the day of launch, with a game plan, comfy shoes and hopes to snag everything on our wish list and we did! The collection was highly anticipated and sold out immediately in stores and online, so sad to say you probably won’t be able to locate this jumpsuit at your local Target. I have linked up some jumpsuits and other clothing pieces featuring the palm print trend for you guys, so if a jumpsuit is not your taste, maybe a cute dress or skirt is up your alley!
