Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. If not, I have a “Cheap Vs. Chic” post today. If you are new here, “Cheap Vs. Chic” is a “Look for Less” post that I typically do on Tuesdays. You don’t always have to sacrifice style by spending high end prices. So I like to help you along and share the steals that I am currently coveting and putting on my wish list!

Aquazzura is a brand that is new to me personally. I’ve seen it on blogs and magazines and I am so in love with the edginess and style the brand brings when it comes to shoes. I’ve rounded up some pretty solid dupes that are easy on the eyes AND wallet!

Hello everyone! I know its been a minute since I’ve last blogged. But, the little one had a fever last week so I was home with her for a few days. I was super tired and didn’t have much energy to do anything. Hopefully, you’re following me on Instagram! I’ve been posting a few things there so you can get your shopping/ outfit post fix from there.

I CANNOT wait for Fall! I really don’t think you understand! With living in Dallas, the heat is ridiculous and I just want it to go away…NOW! I am so ready for fall which brings me to these gorgeous “Over the Knee” boots above. I’ve loved the Stuart Weitzman “Highland” (far left) boot for a long time. I just didn’t want to pay the price for them. At $798, it’s quite an investment piece and just was not in the cards for me. Last year the Sam Edelman “Kayla” (center) OTK boots-currently $189, were all the rage and I missed out on purchasing them. They look almost the same as the Highland boot and I kept delaying buying them. Imagine my delight when I was at the Steve Madden store a few weeks ago and saw these babies (far right)! They are appropriately named “GORGEOUS” and they look and feel amazing. They are on my “MUST HAVE” list for fall and for $150 I suggest they are on yours as well.

Make Me Brunch -But, no really!

I don’t know about where you live, but here in Dallas we are serious about our brunch!!! I absolutely love to eat, that coupled with a yummy mimosa and I am down! When I saw this tee at Kohls I knew I had to have it for my brunch attire. For a casual brunch, I like to keep the look easy but make the look a little special with accessories or shoes. I think this outfit definitely fits the bill. A comfy t-shirt and boyfriend jeans to hide all of the pancake, crepe or french toast goodness that I consume. The cute wedges makes me look like my life is together and that I still got it even as a mommy lol. A few of my favorite brunch spots in Dallas are Breadwinners, Whiskey Cake, Del Frisco Grill and Smoke. Definitely check those places out if you’re ever in my neck of the woods!

That Moment You Find a Great Fitting Romper!

That moment when you find the most comfortable, great fitting romper? Yes, its not too many moments like those when it comes to a romper. But, this right here?! Pretty much greatness. The material, feel and fit is wonderful. This romper can be worn just about anywhere. I, of course had to dress it up with pumps and a statement bag. But, this can be worn casually with a great pair of flat sandals and cross body bag if you choose. This is another ASOS find. I’ve been on an ASOS kick lately, I don’t know if its because of blogging and wanting to find unique pieces to add to my wardrobe or the 2 day shipping (ASOS Premier membership). But, I’ve been a fan! The only downside is that I do have a few pieces where I’ve had to buy multiple sizes and have yet to return via mail. So look for those to be sold on my Instagram!

Anyhoo, back to this romper!!!You have to get it and for $30 its well worth it! It has a level of chicness to it which I love and makes me feel put together as well. Be sure to check out this great find and add to your summer wardrobe!

I really like doing these kinds of posts because I love to find things that are very similar in style for a great price. I love finding a cheaper alternative when it comes to shopping. Sometimes you can love the look of a high end or more expensive item, but really cannot justify spending the price. So when I stumble across a style inspired piece for a more affordable price, I’m all over it!! This is a deal too good not to share!

I have been obsessing over the Schutz “Julianna” caged sandal (middle) which retails for about $200. Not too bad, but when I found the Steve Madden “Slithur” sandal which basically looks the EXACT same for $109, I knew I scored. The only difference I have noticed is that the Steve Madden version doesn’t have the curved heel and is 4 inches high compared to the Schutz 5 inch heel which is perfect for me. Let’s face it, the older I get 5 inch heels are no longer my thing. I like to walk like my feet doesn’t hurt thank you very much lol. This item is on my Style Craving list and I need in nude, black, red and yellow of course! I tried these on at Nordie’s and they are even more gorgeous in person. I would highly suggest to add this gorgeous shoe to your closet!

Hey Loves! I hope the start of your week is going well. Are you blinded by all the gold? It’s my current style craving. I ADORE rose gold! I consistently reach for it when it comes to jewelry, accessories and shoes (i.e. the rose gold Steve Madden sandal, I NEED!). I simply love how luxe it is and the sheen it gives in comparison to regular gold. It also is perfect for summer to give your look a little bit of glam. FASHION COLOR POP

Happy Sunday loves! Its been a long week and I have been super excited this week to have friends and family here in town for my little girl baby dedication! I have been super busy getting things together for this event. Life as a mommy is overwhelming but it brings me so much joy every time I see that little face and know that she is all mine!

This week’s shoot was in the Highland Park area in Dallas and its such a gorgeous location for pictures. If only I could pack a bag and hop on a plain to Spain, I wish lol! Also, the hubby shot these pictures!! It was a new experience for us both and having a baby in tow while snapping pictures is not easy. But, we made it work (barely)! I love this maxi skirt, its colorful, bright and the perfect pop of color to your spring wardrobe. I’ve had it for some years now and it never goes out of style. Its a good ole’ TJ Maxx find and I also picked it up in a fun fuchsia too! I usually wear it with a tank or tee and keep the look super simple and easy. Happy Tuesday!! Today’s post is a feature on my blog called “Style Cravings,” which are different looks or current styles that I MUST have in my wardrobe. Look for these posts once a week on my blog and you’ll probably see my current craving appear really soon (no, but really)!

My current craving are these gorgeous bright, fuchsia pumps! I love colorful shoes because they really add a nice contrast to an outfit and is so unexpected from the usual black or nude. You gotta love the brunch sweatshirt too! I’m all about brunch and hit the brunch “circuit” as I like to joke, pretty hard. There is nothing like a little mimosa, sweet pancakes and bacon, yes bacon, to make the weekend oh so grand! See you on my next post Thursday where I share another look from my photoshoot with Megan!
