Hello! Happy Tuesday! Just a quick post sharing what I purchased during Sephora’s Friends & Family sale that occurred over a week ago. I was so happy to be able to get the 20% discount, which made it a perfect time to purchase some makeup items I’ve been debating about. I also was able to use my VIB points and get some great sample boxes of makeup products as well.
My favorite, all time foundation is the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation. I’ve been using this foundation for about six years now and its a must have for me. It does great with coverage, wears well throughout the day and the HD makes it look great in pictures. A must for a blogger!! I also tried out the Bobbi Brown Powder Foundation as my setting powder. So far, so good! It offers a natural coverage that is perfect for every day, but I wouldn’t say that I would wear it for full coverage. It seems a bit too sheer. I also bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette because I wanted to play around with some highlighters. I really don’t care for the super glittery ones, so this palette is perfect for a natural glow. I like to apply them under the eyes as well for a little pick me up.
The Friends & Family sale was a PERFECT time to try some high end mascaras. I’ve been wanting to try the Giorgio Armani “Eyes to Kill” mascara forever! I really like it so far, one application and my lashes are nice and long. It’s not really a thickening mascara, but great for lengthening. I also tried the Too Faced “Better than Sex” mascara. I’m not overly impressed. But, I plan to use it a little more and see if it gets better with time.
I really loved being able to use my VIB beauty points and getting some good sample boxes. I’m loving the Bobbi Brown set, the eye cream is a really good moisturizer and I’m hoping to see good results in using it. I really love the BITE lip box. The lipstick is soooo creamy and soft!! I really like BITE lip products. Their pretty much amazing!
