A leather dress for Fall is something you most certainly need in your Fall wardrobe. Leather dresses are a great transitional piece because they tend to be lightweight enough to work in warmer temps, but warm enough for when the weather turns a bit chilly.
A leather dress that comes mid length is my kind of dress. These days, I am not into short, mini dresses. I tend to not reach for them often. But, a good midi dress I know I can never go wrong. When I saw this Zara leather midi dress online in Black, I knew I had to have it. But, when I saw it came in this cobalt blue color, I fell in love. Now, I know you can’t go wrong with black. However, I say you cant go wrong with this bold blue either, do you agree?
A leather dress is such a fun piece to wear too. Date nights, girl night out anywhere that you want to feel stylish and on trend, a leather dress will fit the bill. Speaking of fit, make sure you take into consideration that most leather dresses will not have any stretch. So if you know that you may need a little extra room in the tummy or hip area, you may consider sizing up like I did with this dress. I’m so glad I did, this dress has ruching around the tummy area, which is my problem area, and a small would not have worked at all. The medium fits perfectly! So again, keep in mind sizing when you shop!
Also, I may be a bit partial as to why a leather dress is a wardrobe essential because…. I LOVE LEATHER ANYTHING! A leather skirt, leather shorts, leather pants, jackets, coats. You name it! At any rate, do me a favor and incorporate leather into your Fall wardrobe. I don’t mean just a leather jacket either. Leather skirts and pants can be paired with so many things such as printed blouses, sweaters, cardigans and more. You will certainly get many wears out of a leather piece. So give it a try!
