So I know this is an unusual post as I mainly post about fashion or lifestyle. But, I shared on my Instagram stories that I was doing a pantry makeover. Lord knows it needed it! Cluttered, expired goods and no order left me so annoyed every time I opened my pantry door. I did a poll on Instagram if anyone was interested if I did a blog post regarding my pantry makeover and everyone voted yes. So here we are! You guys are getting an inside look at my pantry. How’s that for getting to know each other better? lol.
The first pic in this blog post is my before. Well, not really! This was the day after I trashed all of the expired mess from the pantry. I got a little ahead of myself and forgot to take the true before picture of the pantry. Anyways, when I got fed up regarding the mess of my pantry, I took to Pinterest for organization ideas and tips. I mean, isn’t Pinterest the greatest for inspiration?! How are we adulating without it, right?
The storage solution that stood out to me were wire baskets and labels. I really wanted something we could see thru and not have to always pull out. Especially with Camille being a little more independent now, if she’s able to grab her snacks without needing Mommy or Daddy to help, we’re winning. But, because not any ole’ wire basket would do, I wanted rose gold! You guys, I had the hardest time finding rose gold baskets in the sizes I wanted. I stumbled on a pantry makeover article where they had my coveted rose gold wire baskets. Guess what guys, they were from Amazon!! Has Amazon ever failed us? No, not never!
There were a lot of size options, so I ordered quite a few. I wanted to ensure they were deep enough for what I needed and that I ordered enough so I wouldn’t need to order more. These worked out perfectly! I ordered 3 small, 3 medium and the one rectangle one. I also ordered tiered shelving to place canned goods, cooking oil and whatever else that I could easily see displayed. But, the ones you see here are actually from Homegoods! These are 15 inches wide with the option to extend an additional 5 inches. Whereas, the ones from Amazon were only 15 inches wide. Also, the Homegoods tiered shelves were significantly cheaper too! So head there first to see if you can find them!
Another great find on Amazon were the “Under Shelf Basket” thats holding all of my foil and ziplock bags. This shelf is so bomb y’all! It comes in a pack of two and all you do is slide the shelf onto your shelf. No screws, nails or any drilling! Just slide and go! This is perfect to utilize more shelving space and get rid of the clutter. Amazon is just amazing I tell you.
The last little detail is that I used gift tags to label each basket. I knew that if I didn’t, I would forget what would go where and the husband would have no clue where to put things. And we cannot have my pantry makeover go down the drain by creating more chaos! What’s so cute is the day I did the pantry makeover and Camille came home from school, she went to get a snack from the pantry and saw her name. So she know’s this basket is Camille’s stuff! Which also makes it easy for her when she helps me to put groceries away. I can just tell her to put it in her basket and she’s good to go!

Well, I hope you enjoyed my pantry makeover. It makes me happy when I open my pantry and its all nice and pretty. I got a few more spaces to go in the house to get organized such as the spice cabinet, my bathroom closet, Camille’s room and the nursery. So if you guys are interested, I may post about that too!
