Hello there!

Fall is here… well not really in Dallas but anyhoo! Let’s talk about my “Fall 2015 Fashion Essentials!” I know often times we speak of trends that are given to us from the fashion world each year. But, most times I just do me! I rounded up my top ten Fall essentials that I pretty much wear each fall season. These are my “go to” fall wardrobe pieces that I feel you can’t go without: statement bag, the cape, over the knee boot and ankle bootie, classic trench coat, cable knit sweater, fedora hat, the essential puffer vest, layering tops and a well fitted pair of dark denim.

Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. If not, I have a “Cheap Vs. Chic” post today. If you are new here, “Cheap Vs. Chic” is a “Look for Less” post that I typically do on Tuesdays. You don’t always have to sacrifice style by spending high end prices. So I like to help you along and share the steals that I am currently coveting and putting on my wish list!

Aquazzura is a brand that is new to me personally. I’ve seen it on blogs and magazines and I am so in love with the edginess and style the brand brings when it comes to shoes. I’ve rounded up some pretty solid dupes that are easy on the eyes AND wallet!

Hi Friends! It’s been a crazy two weeks for me. My little one Camille turned one last week and her birthday celebration was this past weekend. I am sorry I have not been in touch for a bit.

I hope you enjoyed my most recent post on “How to Take ‘Perfect’ Family Pictures”. I ask that you share it with friends and family because I think its important to really understand how moments like those are already made perfect! So often, we get caught up in the right pose, is everyone smiling, basically is everything picture perfect? There is no need to strive for perfection when your family is all together as one. How blessed are we for that reason, right?!

This is a short post, I will have another for you Sunday where I provide more deets and photos as to what I wore in our family pics. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Lady in Red Jumpsuit

I am not usually one for wearing red. I just never lean towards it. I like to incorporate red into my wardrobe with my shoes and purses. I do know, that when I saw this red jumpsuit, the song came to mind “Laaadyyy in Reeddd” lol. I’ve been wanting another jumpsuit, after wearing a few this summer, (check previous blog posts here and here) and I wanted another one to incorporate into my fall wardrobe. If it wasn’t so darn hot out, I would’ve worn a beautiful jacket (like this or this one) with this jumpsuit to tie this look together. But, nobody had time to be hot at a blog shoot so I wore it sans jacket. But, I think it still works! What do you think?

I know you’re wondering about the shoes, because lets face it, they’re EVERYTHING! I bought these during Zara’s summer sale, so sadly they are sold out. Dont worry, I will link some nice alternatives for you, so not all is lost!

That Moment You Find a Great Fitting Romper!

That moment when you find the most comfortable, great fitting romper? Yes, its not too many moments like those when it comes to a romper. But, this right here?! Pretty much greatness. The material, feel and fit is wonderful. This romper can be worn just about anywhere. I, of course had to dress it up with pumps and a statement bag. But, this can be worn casually with a great pair of flat sandals and cross body bag if you choose. This is another ASOS find. I’ve been on an ASOS kick lately, I don’t know if its because of blogging and wanting to find unique pieces to add to my wardrobe or the 2 day shipping (ASOS Premier membership). But, I’ve been a fan! The only downside is that I do have a few pieces where I’ve had to buy multiple sizes and have yet to return via mail. So look for those to be sold on my Instagram!

Anyhoo, back to this romper!!!You have to get it and for $30 its well worth it! It has a level of chicness to it which I love and makes me feel put together as well. Be sure to check out this great find and add to your summer wardrobe!

Where are you going in this chic, white jumpsuit?!

How do you like the title of this blog post? Lol. I came up with it out of nowhere. Do you ever just buy something and have no set agenda to it? Or if your friend ask, ” girl, where are you gonna wear that to?” My response is always, “I don’t know, but I’m buying it!” You just know that one day, you’ll sit on the floor of your closet, with a nice event to go to and say, I have nothing to wear! Then, a light bulb goes off and you think, “I know!” You then pull that one piece out of the closet with a sigh of relief and put it on and as they say, SLAY!!!

Ok, this may not apply to you, but it does to me lol. When I saw this jumpsuit, it was an immediate, “add to cart” action and I bought it without a second thought. It’s perfect for those occasions that I have to look pulled together, chic and sophisticated for a nice dinner, party or wedding. It’s totally ok to purchase something with no specific place in mind to go, because you need to add pieces to your closet you can totally count on. I kept this look simple with black accessories, such as the black, heeled sandals and snakeskin clutch. I don’t have to put much work into this outfit, because it speaks for itself. I’m so obsessed with it. This jumpsuit tho’?! Is Everything!!!

How cute is this location? I adore it! My blog photographer always finds the perfect back drop to my outfits. It’s like a secret garden feel and it’s even more beautiful in person.

So, tell me, what’s a piece in your closet that you can pull out and know that its perfect for any occasion and you feel the most confident in? With this jumpsuit, I now have a go to piece I can count on! I have a feeling I’ll be purchasing plenty of chic jumpsuits in the near future and you should too!

In Living Color!

Don’t you just love this dress? This dress is what I call a “multi-purpose” dress (“Baby Boy” anyone, lol?). It literally can be worn for any and all occasions: dinner, brunch, wedding, date night etc. This dress was PERFECTION for this blog shoot! I mean, check out the scenery! I hope you don’t mind, but I couldn’t just pick a few pictures, I had to share all of my favs from the shoot because its so eye catching. And hey, check out my twirl!! I had to include that shot lol.

I love bold, colorful prints like this that stands out and makes a statement. I dressed up this look but, it can also be worn with beautiful, flat sandals as well. Currently this dress is sold out 🙁 But, I have linked it in solid colors that are still available. If you stalk the site enough, it may be available though. I would immediately order it, because it sells out fast!

Style Craving: Neutral Jumpsuit by alwayzzfashionablylate featuring a white skinny belt

Hey Loves! Happy Tuesday! It’s another style craving post and I literally want every jumpsuit posted here. Are they not the most chic jumpsuits you’ve laid eyes on? Everything on this board from the shades of neutrals, to the fit of the jumpsuit screams my name. I feel that ever since I bought the “Lilly for Target” by Lilly Pulitzer palm jumpsuit featured here, I have been craving more jumpsuits for spring to add to my wardrobe! Jumpsuits are such a quick and easy look that really takes your look to the next level and in my opinion screams sexy but classy!

I might be going slightly bananas over jumpsuits this spring as I wanted so many cute jumpsuits last year. The problem at the time was I was pregnant and although there were many cute maternity jumpsuits out there, constantly running to the ladies room and wearing a jumpsuit is NOT a good idea lol.
