This slip dress with a blazer look is a whole vibe for me. It can translate to the office, well maybe not the bright pink, but totally a more subtle color with a nice tailored blazer would be so chic! What you have to understand with a slip dress is that it can be worn so many ways!! You can’t really get bored, as its such a good staple piece if you ask me.
I happened to stumble across this striped blazer I bought last summer at Target somewhere deep in my closet. I was actually going to sell it since I had not worn it in almost a year. But, once I pulled it out I immediately thought of my new pink satin slip dress I got from Zara. It gave me an idea of doing a slip dress with a blazer look and I really like it! I think the blazer helps to tone down the bright pink slip dress just a bit. What do you think?
I have one more slip dress look under my sleeve coming to you soon. In this particular look I am just wearing the slip dress itself, no layers or anything! Its a really cute look and I believe you will like it as much as I do.
If you haven’t been following along, I’ve been styling a few slip dress looks for the past few months. Be sure to check out those posts here and here!
How do you like the slip dress trend?
Do you think slip dresses are reminiscent of a nightgown? I believe it depends on the print, color and quality. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
